Considering their later reputation, and the love of this era of the band by many of us on this forum (count me in) ; hey were that hippie band with that weird name, who had no hits . Note , even mocked for their poverty in this song .
"Workingman's" , with "Uncle John's",and "Casey Jones", getting FM play started to change this . And yes, they didn't win any new fans at Woodstock .

Oh yeah; as I always say, the two 1970 albums are what made the DEAD...
